Mushwani rugs are a textile art form that combines flat weave and pile carpet weaving techniques. These rugs are produced by the Mushwani tribe in Herat, south-western Afghanistan. A master weave, it is also known as the Queen Maliky rug. This piece is made with fine Beljic wool, which has a velvety feel.
This Afghan rug represents exceptional value but is also a hard-wearing and usable.
