A beautiful and rare antique Persian Veramin rug. An extremely good example of this style, soft natural dyes and extremely high quality wool with even pile. These high quality rugs are no longer in production and are now very hard to find.
This piece is an extremely good example with a fantastic design and outstanding colours.
Varamin is one of Iran’s largest villages, located just 25 miles to the south-east of Tehran. An important centre for tribal weaving and experts regard antique Varamins as purer Persian rugs.
